Lucie booked over a year in advance to ensure she secured EasyPhoto’s Reception Studio Service with Instant Onsite Printing. In addition Lucie and Ryan decided to take advantage of the pre-pay option so that they had vouchers to issue to their Guests, to exchange for a portrait print. The Studio was setup in the reception area of the Corby Hilton giving good access to all Guests throughout the night.

Chesham Park Community College Prom

After an exciting delay with both double decker buses getting stuck down the dead end lane, the Prom went straight into the meal. EasyPhoto stood patiently by, whilst time was made to start taking the Prom portraits. The Mobile Studio with its High Key configuration was lucky to be setup in the air conditioned room, which proved to be a perfect location for the instant onsite review and printing. The studio was very busy right up to the last minute with departure of the buses just slightly delayed for the final few prints at around 11:00pm.

North Oxfordshire Academy Prom

By far our favourite Event, the North Oxfordshire Academy School Prom held at Rye Hill Golf Course enjoyed yet another year of glorious warm weather. This was ideal for arriving in style, including vintage cars, stretch limos, not one – but two Pimped 30 tonne Rigs, a convoy of Morris Minors – soft top of course, and even a Fire Engine! Our high key Mobile Studio was busy all night long, with the instant printing running so fast we needed to re-load more paper.

A great night enjoyed by teachers and pupils alike.

Henley in Arden High School Prom

The torrential rain failed to turn this Prom into a damp squid! Held at the Hogarths Hotel just off the M42, EasyPhoto attended with our high key studio and onsite printing to provide studio portraits on demand. Although slow to get going, due possibly to the rain, it quickly turned into a night to remember.

Finham Park School Prom

Finham Park School’s first Prom at the Hilton Coventry was a spectacular success. EasyPhoto attended with the High Key Mobile Portait Studio and supplied instant on-site printing to over 200 guests. With great music and a fine meal, the evening was enjoyed by all attending. A big thank you goes to the teaching staff who organised the Event right down to the playlist!

ORH Cancer Research Charity Ball

A fantastic Charity Ball in Witney. Held at Club onYX Witneys Premier Nightclub and Entertainment Venue. This was a value packed event with Live music, DJ and Buffet meal.

A great time was had by all thanks to the dedicated organisation by all involved. Our special thanks go to Kadie, who looked after us from arrival to departure. This was also the biggest charity raffle we have ever experienced!

With our high key Mobile Studio and onsite printing service we were supplying prints from start to end. We even managed to squeeze the studio into our minimum space requirement on both dimensions of just 3 x 4 metres, plus point of sale.

Kaylie and Martin Wedding Day

Although by traditional standards Kaylie and Martin may have left their wedding photography a little late to organise, we were able to offer a full Wedding Day service. Kaylie declined the inclusive “getting ready” segment of the day which, as it turned out was most fortunate.

The wedding ceremony was at the popular St Mary’s church in the small picturesque village of Adderbury, population normally circa 2,500. However, today was the village Morris Dancing and grudge Football Match Day that was making the village bulge outwards under the sheer weight of all the extra people, organisers and police milling around.

Consequently the ceremony was a little late starting but the church is a photographers gift, being both photogenic and light at the same time. Due to all the passers by it was impossible to take the group photos at the church and time was rapidly running out so Kaylie and Martin opted to escape Adderbury for the Holt Hotel.

The Holt is a perfect local venue for weddings, due mainly to the staff and management running everything like clockwork. We never really recovered from the over-run at the church and the time it took to get out of Adderbury, so by the time we could start the Bride and Groom photos it was getting rather dark. Kaylie and Martin Reception Studio

As soon as Kaylie’s mother saw the Reception Studio service she knew it was perfect for their daughter’s wedding. In addition to the Studio, Kaylie and Martin also took advantage of the discounts available on pre-pay volume orders to secure enough vouchers for all the reception guests to receive their studio portrait, to take away on the night. Of course this meant that we were extra busy after a full day coverage at the wedding, but once we got into the swing of things we forgot just how tired we were and some stunning portraits emerged.

As we were at the Holt Hotel we had access to an enormous room and some of the most friendly and helpful staff in the area all of which ensured everything went smoothly. See below for some of the images from the night.

what are some easy/popular wedding appetizers?

I am getting married this june and I’m trying to come up with easy appetizers for my guests. It is going to be a fairly informal wedding and a stationary appetizer table. I already decided on scallops in bacon, shrimp, fruits, veggies and cheese and crackers, but im not sure what else to use for appetizers, What are some easy and fairly cheap ones? I am making my own food for the wedding so that is why the easier the better thanks!

You are right on with your food items. Just avoid anything with dips and sauces because they are not so easy to eat and are so drippy on the table and on people’s clothing, making a mess. Besides, you do not want half broken off pieces of food in the dip as that is very unappetizing as well as unsanitary with people’s fingers in there, too.

A good way to serve fruits is in toothpick kabob form, sprinkled with lemon confectioners sugar. Perhaps salted nuts, as well. If you can, get a cheese wheel. They look great and stay fresh longer than sliced cheeses. Olives go very well with cheese and crackers, too.

The best parties I have been to have the refreshments and the food on opposite ends of the reception. This forces people to mingle and makes for a better social occasion where the crowd moves around, preventing a stale party.

You may want to Google: “One bite appetizers”. These are the best because they are easy to eat and display well.

Wedding Appetizers.. easy/ DIY?

I am doing my own Appetizers. Its a relaxed florida wedding that is semi-formal. I want to do like molded dips in like a clam shell kind of mold.

Does anyone have any easy recipes that can be molded for chips/dips.. also other kind of platters that can be made pretty.. like cheese and meat trays… thanks guys.

Appetizers are fun but take some thought. Although a molded clam dip might look pretty when it is set out, after a few people sample it, it looks jumbled up and does not look very attractive. Why not pour your dip into a large cleaned shell and surround it with crackers, chips and cut up vegetables? Cheese and meat trays could be bought at a local market. You could put out a pretty tray, transfer the meat-cheese to it and decorate the tray with cleaned shells. Setting out a plastic tray of the type that it comes in from the store does not appeal to me for such a special occasion. Have fun.
