A professional photograph of yourself, your friends or loved ones is one of the few things in life that will truly last a lifetime, if not generations. As we grow up our bodies and faces change, new family members are born and others depart, children grow up and leave the nest. We move around and meet new friends, losing contact old friends (especially when we are younger). It’s the older generation that understand just how much the younger generation will appreciate the gift of treasured memories in later life. There’s no better time that the present to start building a portfolio of memories.

Good portrait photography is an enjoyable experience for both the subject and photographer. We strive to create an informal relaxed atmosphere at all our shoots. This allows us to produce truly personal pictures that reflect the character of our clients in either the studio or a natural environment. Rest assured that long gone are the days of the stiff studio portrait sitting! Modern portraiture has a fresher, brighter, look to it using intense white backgrounds or harmonious natural outdoor locations.

Our aim is to produce beautiful images that capture your character and energy. We realise that to capture great images we need relaxed happy subjects. Part of this is ensuring that you don’t ever feel pressured for time or to “give a performance”. But more importantly we believe that it is our willingness to listen to you and get to know you as an individual that allows us to best guide (as oppose to dictate) the conditions for the perfect image. It’s then our responsibility to be ready for that perfect instance and capture the moment for all time.

Once we have the memory captured we offer a fantastic range of mounts, frames and contemporary wall displays for all budgets. From protective quality environmentally friendly cardboard mounts through the latest ultra stylish magnetic acrylic desk and wall frames to the top quality Bellissimo Albums, we have a flexible and cost effective solution for everybody.

We offer a range of contemporary portraiture styles including the popular white background 'High Key' that goes with just about any home or office decoration. Studio based sessions offer the best control over light and being indoors are not so dependent on the weather. However, with EasyPhoto you don’t need to brave the town centre parking ordeal as our mobile studio can usually come to you.

A portrait is defined as a likeness of a person, especially of the person’s face. But, there are deeper connotations. A photographic portrait is understood to be a good quality image that not only captures a person’s physical likeness on film, but also something of the person’s character, generally in a manner that is attractive and pleasing to the subject. For this reason we also off our clients Lifestyle Photography as an alternative to the studio approach.

As an alternative, Lifestyle portraits are not staged and are only sensitively posed. They are a relaxed and informal glimpse into your character. Lifestyle portrait sessions don't involve putting on your Sunday best and posing rigidly in front of a standard background. These are on location shoots, a location special to you. Perhaps you would like your family to be photographed at home, or at a local beauty spot, perhaps running through Autumn leaves or splashing in water, you the kids and the family dog on a typical walk through a spring meadow or maybe simply a more informally posed portrait session in the back garden, in the town or city, urban or natural surroundings with your teenage friends?
