Maternity or “bump” photography is an increasingly popular way to capture your feminine curves before your baby is born. A trend popularised by the famous Demi Moore appearing naked and heavily pregnant on the front cover of Vanity Fair. Since then women have been inspired to document their pregnancies with a maternity portrait. Myleene Klass and Britney Spears have both followed in Demi's footsteps by gracing a magazine cover whilst pregnant.

Bumps are in fashion!

We aim to capture the wonder that is your pregnancy. Photographs can be taken fully-clothed, partially-clothed or nude... you decide. Maternity fashions have gone from concealing a pregnant belly under folds and folds of floral material, to highlighting it with pride with revealing or figure-hugging outfits. Wear whatever reflects who you are – jeans and boots in a strong urban style or softly draping dresses in the sitting room. Children, husbands, partners are optional. You can be photographed alone or together. Clothed - or not! It's all down to your comfort level and the style of picture you would like.

However you decide to be photographed, the end result will be a beautiful piece of art that will celebrate the wonderful nine-month journey that you are going through. Then, when your child is old enough to ask "where do babies come from", you'll have the pictures to answer their question. And don't worry - our retouching service can remove any trace of those stretch marks from the final image.

Pregnancy is one of those precious moments that really shouldn't be forgotten about. Book a studio portrait through all the various stages of your pregnancy or just have a single visit. For maximum bump and minimum exertion we advise you to book about your session for about 6 weeks (34 weeks) before your due date.
