Actor & Model Portfolios

So you want to be a model or an actor? Where do you start? How about gaining some experience in front of the camera and putting together a few images to start a portfolio. We have assembled a few packages to enable you to discover your talents and set you off with a few good images to help you fulfil your dreams.

Maybe you are an experienced model and wish to add to your portfolio or try out new ideas and images. Whatever your need - we have the solution.

We believe that no photographer can create an entire model or actor portfolio in one session. In fact, your portfolio should have the work of several photographers included. We don’t even attempt to shoot a whole portfolio for you, but rather a small series of high impact as near perfect as possible images. The objective is of course simply to make you look your best.

During the shoot, we will take a variety of different photographs as directed and agreed with you beforehand. They can be Beauty, Fashion, Lingerie, Glamour etc. Please remember, we will not get you to do anything you (or we!) are uncomfortable with. We have no interest in pressuring models into doing the types of modeling they are not predisposed to undertake. We trust you to know what your limits are and to be able to tell us what they are before any shoot. Communication and mutual respect are the keys to any good working relationship.

We do advise that this be treated as a fun session that will give you some really nice model or actor style pictures and not as a route to certain success in these careers. We do not want anyone to buy a portfolio of prints from us in the hope of getting work from an agency only to be disappointed some time later. So if you approach the session as a way of getting some nice shots for yourself then you will enjoy it all the more.

Remember, most agencies only require that you send a couple of shots (head and shoulders and full length). These do not have to be professionally taken and should not involve you spending lots of money. You do not need to pay for a portfolio of pictures to approach an agency. Your portfolio will be built over a period of time working with various photographers. Models especially, often make the mistake of packing their portfolio with umpteen shots from the same session. A portfolio takes time to develop and should show the full range of looks, dress, methods and styles that you can achieve.

Included in the fees are a copyright release and worldwide perpetual royalty free license for personal promotion and for use by your agent.

Lingerie and Glamour by their nature have adult content. If you wish to have photographs of this nature then, when you attend the session, you will be asked for identification that shows you are over 18 years. For clients under 18 years, we require a parent or guardian to be in attendance for all sessions of any nature. This policy represents industry best practice protecting both our clients and the photographers.
